As we age we can develop a variety of skin blemishes including skin tags, Milia and Blood Spots (Cherry Angioma). These can cause embarrassment, catch on clothes or jewellery and are often removed for cosmetic reasons.

We target these using advanced electrolysis which is quick, often completed within minutes depending on the size and number of lesions. The method of electrolysis is often quicker than Laser/IPL treatment for these blemishes.

Advanced electrolysis is a precise, quick and effective treatment used to safely remove a range of common skin blemishes.

Using a fine sterile probe or needle, a controlled electrical current is applied directly to the blemish. This cauterises or coagulates the tissue, allowing the body to naturally heal and the imperfection to fade or detach over the following days.

Advanced electrolysis is suitable for a variety of skin concerns. The ones we treat are:

Skin tags - Skin tags are small growths on the skin. They can appear anywhere on the body but are common in areas where skin rubs together, such as the neck, armpits, and groin. Women can frequently find them on their bra strap area.

Blood Spots (Cherry Angioma) - Small red spots formed by a cluster of blood vessels that usually appear on the torso or limbs. Women tend to develop more after the age of 40 and when peri menopausal.

Milia - Milia are small, hard, white or yellowish bumps commonly found around the eye area or face. They are often referred to as "milk spots" and are caused by trapped keratin within the skin.

A fine needle/probe is applied to the surface of the skin to coagulate or cauterise and remove raised lesions such as skin tags.

The treated area will typically form a dry crust or darkening, which naturally sheds as the skin heals.

Some clients describe it as a mild heat or prickling sensation.

We use advanced Cryo Zimmer cooling technology to aid with client comfort - but most people do not require this.

Redness or minor swelling can occur.
Healing usually takes 5–14 days depending on the area/blemish treated.

Many concerns can be resolved in a single session. However, some areas may require additional treatments for optimal results.
